Bennu

Bennu is a small space rock — only about 500 metres wide, roughly the size of a few football fields. NASA sent a spacecraft called OSIRIS-REx there, which collected some dust and small pebbles and brought them back to Earth. That was the first time America brought pieces from an asteroid home! Bennu is 4.5 billion years old — almost as old as our solar system. It sometimes flies quite close to Earth, which is why scientists keep a close eye on it.
