Imagine an animal biting down with a force stronger than anything that ever lived on land – that was T. rex! At 12.4 m long it stretched as far as four cars end to end, and its bite was roughly five times more powerful than a lion's. The most famous fossil, "Sue", was found in the USA in 1990 and remains one of the most complete T. rex skeletons in the world.
