Lowland Tapir

The tapir looks a bit like a pig with a small trunk – but it's actually related to horses and rhinos! It's the biggest wild animal in South America and weighs as much as three adults combined. Tapirs love water and are excellent swimmers. They use their flexible little trunk to pick leaves and fruits from trees.
